This 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home and cottage is located on beautiful Cordova Bay on the north side of Victoria, BC Canada. Our spacious house sets on an east facing landscape, with a separate beach cottage below. Our beach is at the very private end of what is considered to be the most beautiful and quietest beach on Southern Vancouver Island. Fantastic views of Cordova Bay, Haro Straight, the San Juan Islands and the Gulf Islands; with the snow capped mountains beyond Vancouver in Canada and Mount Baker and the Cascades in the US. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises (and moon rises) over the San Juan Islands; sunny calm seas, perfect for boating, kayaking, fishing, swimming and beach walks; and sometimes winter storms pounding the beach below. In the distance you can see North and South ship traffic transit the Haro Straight from Alaska and Vancouver to Seattle and points south.

Located a short 15 minute drive from the Victoria airport, 20 minutes from the BC ferries and 15 minutes from Downtown Victoria. Many ammenities are with in a short drive from this spot. Butchart Gardens, Golf courses, and Matticks Farm, but while relaxing on this beach you may not want to go anywhere.

There is parking for three cars in the driveway and more across the road. Walk through the gate past the gardens and water fountain, down the steps past the waterfall to the glass front door of the Sea Side Roost.

Inside the house you will find a huge master bedroom on the top floor with its own sundeck and gas fireplace in front of the king size bed. The ensuite bathroom offers a jacuzzi tub, dual sinks, and large separate shower.

A bedroom on the main floor, large dining area and open floor plan make it very bright and accessible. The livingroom area has a large seating area great for watching tv and dvd movies on the 42" flat screen tv. The kitchen offers a large picture window, and eating area, with all of the ammenities for cooking and entertaining. The sunroom off of the livingroom has a spotting scope and additional seating for relaxing. This opens up to the large deck with glass railings providing unobstructed views from the 4 person hot tub.

On the first floor you will find a den offering high speed internet access and wireless internet throughout the house. There is a pull out couch for additional accommodation. There is also a large laundry room, and full one bedroom suite (kitchen and full bathroom) with yet another deck overlooking the ocean.

The beach cottage has a fridge, bathroom with shower and has a deck right on the edge of the beach. A two person kayak is at the beach cottage for you to use and explore the area. A short walk down the beach will take you to McMorrans Beach House for lunch, dinner, or breakfast (sundays only).

With the Beach at your feet and views of the San Juan Islands and Mount Baker in the background, you will find yourself in complete paradise. The private setting allows you to relax and enjoy your surroundings and time at the Sea Side Roost.
